Medicaid Transportation

Transportation to and from the patient's appointment is available at no cost. Arrangements must be made more than 24 hours prior to appointment. Emergency transportation is not available. Call 1-800-836-9587 to schedule this service. The following information is needed:
- name of the person to be transported
- recipient's home address
- recipient's date of birth
- place and time of appointment
- recipient's medicaid #.

Hay servicios del salud para ninos desde nacimiento a viente anos. La oficina esta' abierto Lunes, Martes y Jueves. Nos llama para una cita de enfermadad o chequeo physico con las vacunas y el papel para WIC, 504-244-0022. Si Usted tiene el seguro de Community Care, llama 1-800-259-4444 y selecta Dra. McNeil como la doctora para sus hijos. Si no tiene seguro, la visita con la doctora es $40 para una cita de enfermadad y $80 para chequeo physico incluye las vacunas, el papel para WIC, las pruebas del sangre y la prueba de la orina. Kimberly McNeil, MD
Dr. Kimberly McNeil received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC and her Pediatric training with Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Before returning to the New Orleans area, she practiced in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, Dr. McNeil was the Medical Director of Castle Manor KidMed Clinic. She evacuated to Lake Charles then Houston, but gladly returned to New Orleans despite FEMA's efforts to keep her away from the city. Dr. McNeil believes in a wholistic approach to patient care and maintains a commitment to patient education and the New Orleans East area.
